Lately I have been mesmerized with a lot of ridiculous shows like "Say Yes to the Dress" and other bridal and "fashion" advice clips on television. I'm slightly perturbed by the behavior on these shows both from the customers and the sales personnel. I fully understand that leading up to a wedding, all the months of preparation can lead to stress unlike any other; afterall it is supposed to be a day that the wedded couple and all of their friends and family will remember forever, so of course it
must be perfect! I believe that every bride should get her dream wedding... the one she has been dreaming of since she was but a little girl! However... There is a fine line between being stressed and letting everything get to your head. No one likes a bridezilla! So I figured I would dedicate this post to share with my readers the brides who have inspired me, the families who have
literally made my jaw drop, and obviously a collection of ideas which I hope to incorporate in my wedding one day! Below I will continue to add insane quotes, pictures of dresses, rings, and other decor from which I was either inspired or disturbed, and other wedding related extras (:
First I thought I start with my dream wedding.
My Dress:
My Ring:
Inside of my cake (red velvet (: )
Outside of my cake:
Bridesmaids dresses (possibilities):
This is my favorite as of yet. I believe the design really works with my dream dress.
I really love this one as well. And I love the purple shoes with it.
Or maybe just a purple dress?
Not so strapless?
Hm... Decisions, decisions...
And a funny quote I heard on a more recent episode of "Say Yes to the Dress" to end off the night:
"
We mormons are just sexier than regular people so we have to cover all this up." ~ The brides' soon-to-be mother-in-law. Hahahaha oh my! (FYI I have nothing against Mormons, I'm just fairly certain that is not the reason they are so conservative.) There's a fine line between confidence and narcissism ladies!
